I am very appreciative of all the positive comments I received on my A Fatal Blow session report. As a result I will try to take the time to do more of these over the next upcoming weekend.
The next session I hope to show how the “Optional Combat Movement” rules work. These rules are primarily designed for one-on-one miniature combats like the scene pictured to the left.
The rules work best on a hex map/board and allow for maneuvering to attempt attacks on an opponent’s side or rear with significant modifiers when successful.
I will also be doing a session report on the ranged combat rules in a scenario featuring several archers defending an outpost from a mob of natives armed mostly with hand weapons. One of the archers will be an “expert” shooter to show how proficient and lethal they can be in the game!
